PIANIST, ARRANGER, AND MUSIC DIRECTOR,
NOAH HUSEMAN’S NASHVILLE EXPERIENCE BRINGS POLISH AND
CHARM TO HIS SOUND.
Born in Montclair, NJ, Noah was raised in a musical family and would conduct his mother with a wooden spoon at two years old. Now based in New York City, Noah’s expert ears continue to provide support and ease in any setting, from jazz to theater and beyond. His skills as a pianist and deep knowledge of music theory compound to elevate his arranging and music directing.
In New York, Noah has worked with dance studios, universities, and major music houses both as a music director and pianist. Recently with NYU Tisch’s Opera Lab, Montclair State University, Shuffles NYC, Chickenshed NYC, and Tarrytown Music Hall. He also accompanies choral events, previously with Gotham City Music Collective and Middle Tennessee Vocal Association.
As an arranger in Nashville, he helped produce studio projects including an a capella rendition of Prince’s “Purple Rain,” Billy Joel’s “I’ve Loved These Days,” and a string arrangement of “You Go To My Head.” Since moving to New York, he has been an avid dance arranger with Shuffles NYC and Chickenshed NYC. Aside from creating charts, Noah uses Logic Pro X to create original arrangements as tracks, mixed and ready to perform alongside.
Recently, Noah music directed Chickenshed Theater’s 2026 Gala, The Pond Player’s production of Next To Normal, and was an associate Music Director for Joel B. New’s 20th anniversary concert. Across Middle Tennessee, Noah music directed consistently in theaters in and out of the Metro-Nashville area for years. Favorite shows include Something Rotten, Cabaret, School of Rock, Anastasia, and Sister Act. By pairing his knowledge of orchestration with MainStage 3, he enhanced the sound of the pits he was part of and saved theaters money by doing the programming himself.
Noah worked at Cumberland University (CU) for two years as the Staff Pianist. He met with students weekly, not only playing for them but teaching and vocal coaching them also. Noah supported the choir and theater programs in rehearsals and performances as well as played for student and senior recitals and select University events. For fall and spring musicals, he music directed shows such as …Spelling Bee, Sister Act, and Little Women.
Currently, Noah enjoys score studying for his upcoming season with Weathervane Repertory Theater. From Jonathan Larson to Cole Porter, Noah looks forward to music directing iconic titles such as RENT, Come From Away, and Anything Goes.
